Totally LUV the skateboards he designed!

Showing da Luv ♥ (6)

  1. I’ve skated in the past, for about ten years, and I have seen better board drawings than these. Too common for me.

  2. This is why I like them soo much. Not the usual urban/grungy/extreme designs. Just clean and somewhat retro. Just using the board as another kind of canvas with different constraints. The collection spells out how thoughtful the concept is and consistantly realized.

  3. Borja folds some of my favorite design styles into his work. From the constructivist look of his architecture paintings in gallery 1 to the fantastic more modern vector work peppered throughout the other galleries, I find this work to be inspirational. I am a big sucker for the “skateboard as canvas” work, it’s great.

  4. great work!!!

  5. It’s nice to see something different on a skateboard deck. The simplicity is eye catching and a nice counterpoint to the physical act of skating. The color palette doesn’t overload my occular nerves with grunge or blinding colors screaming for attention. Well done!

  6. I really like distressed illustrations, and the simplicity and geometry these have add quite an interesting dimension. I completely agree with the skateboards, they are eye catching, and not common at all.
I would love to use some of his work on a book cover…

Wow! Waash! WTPEEP! etc,..
