Although I really like the wall of thumbnails with a huge searching box for the Forsman & Bodenfors website and the background changes that reflect your searches, I wonder why – when following a project thumb it leads to an all black background? In my opinion, this breaks the flow.
You, what do you think, works or not?

Hailing from New Zealand, just found Supply who in their own words, “sweat blood, forget loved ones birthdays and neglect our housekeeping in the service of good creative.”
Pretty extreme statement right? So is their work: extreme as in extremely good. Luv the website backgrounds, texture and the fact it includes keyboard. Have a look.

“We can evade reality but cannot evade the consequences of evading reality”.. An ominous quote that appeared after trying out the Instant Oil Spill flash overlay on Netdiver Mag website.
Viral diddy by Mark & Phil which provides cause marketing and philanthropic strategy for non-profits and socially responsible companies and Greener Media.

Some of you might remember that there used to be an Explorative directory on ND. Due to standardization of the web (good thing!) – it lead to having a real hard time replenishing and stocking the directory with worthwhile projects. So we merged the content with either Flashware or Imaginative galleries.
Anyway, Concepd – a websight (clever huh) – is one such.

After a web hiatus for some months, Josh Rhode aka Kult House has just relaunched his website with a ton of new interactive / motion / branding works mostly focussed on sportswear – and much more coming soon.
Pay special attention to the Nike Sister1 Limited concept of overturned shoe that becomes a landscape. Brilliant!

Next generation of flash based personal portfolio website? Go ahead pick a color! Even mouse pointers change color. Drilling down towards every minute detail it seems. The only reservation is my mousewheel for the up and down scroll go a bit crazy. Check out Oriol Bèdia aka 2otsu, who thrives on visual communication assignments and delivers awesome.
Weee LUV it!

Welcome back 2004 via Freaky Facets. No clue of how ‘edgy’ design looked like then? Hit the work section. Wowie these days are sooo gone. Cool little dude though.

You know how much I luv colors and circles, Monens website is using so as navigation and content transitions. The circles also serve as hot spots on products to get more info. Nice! Oh and their products pictures are fantastic.

A strange and yet innovative way to listen to opera. Opera Live Rigoletto is a full interface panning experience whereas arias will play when mousing over certain sections. Although a conceptual and technical prowness, for users unfamiliar with the storyline, it is confusing. Perhaps having offered the possibility to read a quick synopsis would have bettered the experience.
What do you think? Works or not?

Nobody could sustain such an interface design today without seeming passé, but if you were the first one to do it, then I guess, you have royal precedence in doing it again. AgencyNet sure pulled a technical feat, the flying helicopter is unnecessary though.
Why ask your viewers to pick between your blog or full website? Is being part of the blogosphere now more important than potential clients seeing your work right off?

Hot or cold? Organic Grid flash website use horizontal navigational system with thumbnail appearing on mouseover. Suprisingly large visuals and keyboard led nav in sub-levels.
Horizontal the new vertical?
