Esther
Hong is
an all around fantastic designer who has to her credit quite a few
outstanding client works. Be it print or web or packaging to advertising...
she's good! Really-really good!
I've
seen so many different ways of presenting a web site navigation... some
good, some surprising, others excellent and some downright... bad...
or worst, boring!
New media is STILL in emerging stages and exploration and pushing the
limits are certainly not a staled cliché. So dare and do, and
let me know.
Paul Donda chose a most unusual
way... and although line art was used only, it works: exciting, simple,
intriguing. See for yourself!
Designers,
respect yourself!!!
Now you tell me why I feel utterly uncomfortable when reading such a
sentence from a reputed head hunter???
“Designers with 3 to 5 years of experience, depending on where
they worked previously, will be able to speak to working with ethnographers
and other research specialists and to participating in observing consumers
and getting their input in the design process or sharing design concepts
with them.
You want to hear about the dozens of magazines they subscribe to personally,
that are available to them at work, or that they look at online; the
conferences they attend; the sites and blogs they look at; the trade
shows they attend; the people in their network who are experts in another
field. You also want to know about interests from outside the design
world.”

to offer.

Netdiver

business models.
“A Swarm of Angels reinvents
the Hollywood model of filmmaking to create cult cinema for the Internet
era. It's all about making an artistic statement, making something you
haven't seen before. Why are we doing this? Because we are tired of films
that are made simply to please film executives, sell popcorn, or tie-in
with fastfood licensing deals.”
Hats off Mr. Matt Hanson!!!

True

It's now called Habitat Valencia
Forward.
From slick new lines and forms to weird and wacky, something to be found
for any fan of industrial / product design. One thing that seems to be
prevalent, is the ever growing presence of flat 2D illustrations to complement
3D items and a definite early '70s pop flavor.

Sliding

each comprising a common geometrical element that combined, result in
a new composition.

Believe
it or not this guy has build his design
credentials and reputation around the principles of using black,
