A daybook. 365 (almost) virgin pages before you to do with what you

Eoin Stanley passion for drawing started very young (5-6 years old) and since, went on to become a striving young designer and illustrator.
Interestingly, in the work section the very last thumbnail will show examples of his... huh... early works. Marguerite Yurcenar said wisely: “You become in old age what you were, when young.”

Around
the studio, an eclectic assortment of little toys and cute widgets are
displayed and grouped in such a way as if in their own world. They use
very little space on a window sil, bookshelves, desks or the non-functioning

of dinausors is approximately 2 x 2.5 cm in size, they become a focus
point and make my mind wander.

Rigid
or flexible identities? Recently read a printed in-depth look
at the Walker Art Center identity. The concept is a genial one! Create
many different graphic elements that can be used and reused to give a
fresh visual statement.
I am a firm believer that a logo should be used as a great visual element
and not the other way around. Identity systems should simplify the work
of designers not make it a nightmare.
Introducing Walker Expanded: The Walker Art Center's New Graphic Identity
by Eric Olson of the Process Type Foundry
Read the interview and
learn from this elegant and flexible approach.
The only unfortunate, is that their website (apart
from the top banner on the index) does not reflect the new identity.
It would have been great to see the same process implemented.
It seem that the redesign is only applied to print signage, projects
and announcements.
