UK
Design Skills Development Plan. Following an extensive industry
consultation, this plan is the design industry's response to government.
The plan is a powerful and realistic strategy for improvement based
on the development of world-class, high level skills in design, for
all those currently working in the industry as well as those in design
education.

Mind you even if it pertains to the UK market, most of the pointers
are deep-rooted conviction I've shared, thought and believe in. I suggest
you download the full .pdf report read through. Perhaps if you can, print
out meaningful quotes and post around your desk our studio.
More than I ever, I believe designers can change the world!

They
are good with concepts and excel at doing so. Recently discovered new illustrators:
/
Daniel Adel caricactural realism!

/
Tim Bower strong stroked editorial concepts

/
Christopher Stott hyper real paintings!

/
Sterlin Hundley mixing old comic style with surreal.

/
Sameer Kulavoor is talented and versatile

/
Chad Crouch paints buildings and lettering.

They
like to explore new destinations without throwing history to neverland.
You've got see-read Barkley taglines
all accompanied by meaningful pictures and historical facts, posted on
their website, based on their concept that every idea has an experation
date.
Smart! Very smart and we like smart!

All
of Andrew Hem characters have
this something in common, perhaps it is a sense of lost and sadness but
not indifference. Recurrent of the present social situation? An artist
has always a political view of his times.

Sometimes
around the bend awaits this surprise which has the power to expand and
explode the boundaries of your passion. Thanks to Jonathan from Catapult,
you will discover how through the city noise, Pierre
di Scullio created a most unusual exhibit as well as website. But
then, if you're like me, when I design there is always this exciting
and anticipated moment when fonts, will be incorporated.
In fact, typography is a passion. The forms and shapes and sizes and
colors and placements, are like icing on my cake. The final reward when
everything pulls together.

“I think that everyone really should take the time
to read them. They need to understand that anything they post on Facebook
can be used by Facebook and re sold to a third party. This is very important,
particularly artists who are sensitive to their copy rights.”
Forget
the green technology - the hot money is in guns by Naomi
Klein
“According to Lloyd, the really big money - despite
all the government incentives - is turning away from clean-energy technologies,
and is banking instead on gadgets that promise to seal wealthy countries
and individuals into hi-tech fortresses.”
Irrelevant
to the other hemisphere, in this one, it's the season to be COAL!
Nice play on word for this headwear company with gorgeous line of beenies
to keep your head warm.

I
am quite impressed with this montage done by INHOUSE,

Virtual
China looks for real benefits by Victor Keegan
“The project is much, much bigger than that. There are nine similar
virtual universes being planned. China is converting a 100 sq km site
(yes, that is a very big space) on the former nationalised steel mill
site to house, among other things, virtual worlds able to support not
millions or tens of millions but billions of avatars.
When I looked puzzled, he said that people still did not realise how
big a country China was.”

Splendid out of the ordinary photography. The wedding collection will

And
the winner is of the Utopia tee comp? Somewhere
else!
Utopia, or at least some sort of better existence, always seems
to be wherever I am not at the time. I often imagine myself in a pristine
landscape far removed from all my cares. And that's as real as it gets.
Eventually I have to stop wishing and deal with things.

Katalogue

to own a collection of highly unique pieces of art and to show off
their favourite pieces on their living room walls.

How
about recycling posters to adorn the walls of a boutique. This is what
the Campana Brothers
