P41 Studios website
Newly updated P41 Studios website, an art direction, design & development cool gang located in Chicago.
Sharing founder Patrick Algrim’s explanation in ref with the new interface design: “The Web site is designed around forced stimulation. The moving gif’s actually battle the channel surfing nature people often have online. They look at a Web site for 5 seconds, make their judgment, and decide whether to stay or go. With the gif’s, we over-stimulate, causing them to be force focused. It’s also completely modular and the layout changes with each new project and browser size.”
So, what do you think? Agree or not?

Yes, thats true its stimulating ~
But this website is a big copy of WARP : http://warp.net/
and Universal Evrything : http://www.universaleverything.com/
Is it made in flash or dream weaver? Fun tastic design.
@FlyingBoy – Sorry to hear that you think it’s a rip, but saying that is a pretty far stretch. It doesn’t use any of the same build as Warp. The layout is completely different, the coloring is different (aside from Grey and Black, lol). You can see the inspiration if you must, but calling it a rip is far stretched. I didn’t know rounded corners and animated gifs were under lock and key. A lot of the styling that came from the home page was actually inspired by Cargo, and DixonBaxi.
You’re free to have your opinion, but don’t try and go public about something that just isn’t true.
FlyingBoy – If anything there is inspiration, but I don’t see a “big copy.” That’s a pretty bold statement. They are very different from one another.
I quite agree with flyingBoy. Okay it’s not a complete rip or copy, but really close inspiration.
