UnderConsideration production.
Simple, get the book (hard copy or .pdf) and study it to prepare either
your very first portfolio or to weed out and refresh your current one.

As Shaughnessy states: “You should never consider your portfolio

“Customizing is hot. Everything can be customized, from pimped cars to retro furniture. This major trend is especially popular in footwear. Customizing your own shoes is a way of stepping out of the crowd, of showing your personality.
How did it start? What materials do the artists use? There are also tips and tricks on how to create your own unique shoes.”
Highly recommend if you wanna see a good sample of styles.
I was utterly surprised and tickled by the scope of what is going on out there questioning why do we need stuff anyway.

Geometric by Kaptiza

Review:
Hot off the press: Geometric, a graphic art and pattern fonts book. The first ever book published by the talented gals at Kapitza
it comes with a CD containing 100 pattern fonts which is probably the most extensive pattern collection available from any foundry.
This colorful collection is almost dizzying! How the authors managed to compile such a wide array of patterns underlines how undertaking this task points to a real passion - almost an obsession.
Fantastic, the fact that they supply the CD containing all the fonts and ready to use for your own compulsive pattern designs. Last but not least, it includes a useful font index and a smartly explained tutorial section.
