Be positive (wo)man! Moma reads this.
It’s got good and bad points. From a web accessibility angle it fails because it cannot be accessed very easily without a mouse. From a usability angle, if you missed the opening animation it could be a minor challenge to understand what the blurb of overlapping letters is and from an inventive angle it’s adds a bit of interactive fun!
I like it.
Works. Nice how it slides away and drill down is intuitive. Jumble of overlaid words quick/easy to decipher.
Initially difficult to figure out. Multiple points of NAV not intuitive. Not sure it works as a representation of the incredible work but great use as a recruitment tool. I like it but needs some work.
I enjoy it quite a bit.
When it’s fully expanded it looks nice. The animation from open > close > open is smooth. I wasn’t paying attention to the site when it loaded so was very briefly confused about the pile of type.
What I’m really keen on is the fact that it’s different. It’s not another wordpress template. It’s not a traditional web design pattern. It made me think briefly about how to do something.
It has the guts to force me to think about what to do next. Unlike pretty much [almost] the rest of the internet.
