Geometric City – Vol.01

Mohamed Samir designed Geometric City – Vol.01 – a sumptuous pastel colors abstract posters essay simply delicious to look at.

Study of Geometric — Arabic Calligraphy. View the whole project! Wow!

Chipper Things?

Read Becky Simpson summary of her recent one year creative residency at Adobe whereas she completed her 2nd book and opened her online store: Chipper Things.

It’s important to challenge ourselves so that when we win, we really win.

Affirmative (and funny) captions – that empowers and makes us think.

Sing-Sing teamed up with Sagmeister & Walsh to design and shoot this new campaign for Aizone, with wild optical illusions, and the best crew in the world.

Gotta love the high contrast colors of flat 2D meets 3D staging decor. Ohlala the eccentricity of it all.

Netdiver mag is MOVING!

Spatial worlds

The spatial worlds of Johan Moorman are reminiscent of classic arcade games, the works of graphic artist Escher, and old Lego catalogues.

Cool svg animation on index!

From meta scale (building facades) to wearable and almost anything in-between.

Graphisme en France

23rd issue of Graphisme en France addresses logotypes and visual identities for the first time — a subject central to the work of graphic designers.

Available as a free .pdf download and in English.

ndlr: Includes an article from the awesome Martin Lorenz from Twopoints – the ideator behind flexible identity.

Space with colors

Emmanuelle Moureaux is a French architect living in Tokyo since 1996. She has created the concept of shikiri, which literally means dividing (creating) space with colors.

Fantastic installations that is not only pleasing to the eyes but invites to chill and explore like a kid would.

A List Apart wants you!

As A List Apart approaches our 20th anniversary—a milestone in independent, web-based publishing—we’re once again reimagining the magazine.

We want your feedback. And most of all, we want you. We’re getting rid of advertisers and digging back to our roots: community-based, community-built, and determinedly non-commercial. Find out how you can help!

ndlr: The independent content producer refuses to die — Zeldman.

To this I will add:

It’s time to call on the dreamers!

Rylee & Cru
