Not an eyesore
What’s with this website design? by Brandon Oxendine
First: it is kind of hard to explain. It’s on one hand an exploration in readability and garish pattern combinations. On the other hand, it’s a no holds barred foray into the unknown territory of doing whatever I want and attempting to get away with it.
At the very least, it’s interesting. Hopefully it’s also inspiring and seen as an innovative approach to designing for the web. Sorry if it’s just an eyesore. And no, it in no way prescribes my ‘style’.

Oddly enough it is innovative, nice, inspiring and compelling. No doubt Brandon is very talented and is someone to watch for.
