I am a freelance designer living in Berlin. During last 7 years I worked in various design agencies. Since June 2010 I started working as a freelancer, focusing on corporate, print and interaction design.
I love to work in different fields and various clients, like one months I work on an iPad App, next month I create a corporate design or I illustrate something. I really like my job and love having the opportunity to do what I do.

3 questions
Biggest hurdle overcomed?
I find it tough to say 'No' to any opportunity I am given. I have just become a freelancer 7 months ago, so I want to do everything at the same time, take on every project and job, which can be a bit too much at times.
I need to try to focus even more on taking on jobs that thrill me and learn to say 'No' to projects that don't bring me further.
I think this is what most freelancers find challenging and it will be a process for me to learn it.

Greatest moment?
I am generally really thankfull that I get rewarded for giving up my permanent fulltime position in a design agency and becoming a freelancer. Since, I get so many opportunities and I feel so lucky to get the chance to do what I do. Every new client and every new task makes me so enthusiastic and I really hope that everything continues to develop as well as it started.
It would be hard for me if I had to choose only one project that I would descripe as s greatest moment. Designing the exhibition Black Box Ecuador on Berlin's Schlossplatz and creating the cover for CUT Magazine (issue 5) would probably both have to be among greatest tasks.

What next?
I really don't know yet. I don't plan too much. Things are moving so fast at the moment for me and I try to be really open and embrace all opportunities.
