Gregory Euclide is an artist and teacher living in the Twin Cities of Minnesota. “Discontented with the flat surface of traditional landscape paintings, he began exploring the relationship between experiencing nature with the body and creating art objects that depict that experience. It is in that transfer, where he takes delight, manipulating cultural codes and blurring the boundaries between nature and artifice.”
Check the Relief serie which are technically complex in both execution and composition as well as inspiring in its aesthetics.

Mark Weaver has become a collage master. His MSCED retro kitschy collages series incorporate science artifacts, some of the current mundane preoccupations, even dipping into spacey pix to pass pop-philosophical comments.

Andy Gilmore visual explorations are such a treat. Eye candy dripping (monthly) archive to visit from top to bottom. Be it swirls or grids or colorful busting geometric forms everything is a spectacular feast (almost) no end.
Priceless indulgence!

What do you make of these? Paintings? Abstract sculptures? Nope it’s the glass (mind) blowing handiwork of genial Marvin Lipofsky. The psychedelic feel, the curves and the burst of colors defy how we perceive the transparency, shape and flow of forms he creates.
Absolutely breath taking. Literally!

What he likes to do is pile up and mix and match things, stuff and fonts and artefacts into a suspended ball like form in his paintings and illustrations. Excellent perspective and composition.

Just finished reading Custom Kicks by (Kim Smits and Matthijs Maat) MAKI
“Customizing is hot. Everything can be customized, from pimped cars to retro furniture. This major trend is especially popular in footwear. Customizing your own shoes is a way of stepping out of the crowd, of showing your personality.
How did it start? What materials do the artists use? There are also tips and tricks on how to create your own unique shoes.”
Highly recommend if you wanna see a good sample of styles.
