Major problem reported with Safari from <Slashdot>
“There have been many problems reported with Safari on Apple’s discussion boards. The two most prominent are that option-clicking on a link to download can replace your Home folder with the downloaded file, effectively nuking your Home folder. The other has been reported as a printing problem, but is far worse. The printing problem occurs because Safari deletes /tmp, which is a link to /private/tmp.”
Now if you think a Safari is out of price or league or impossible... BUT you're a Mac user, check the news! Don't forget it's a beta.

“One of there-occurring themes that appear on design lists is hiding content , or making one s code invisible. Most of the solutions just don't work. The internet is not about hiding stuff. But in the interest of fairness I can offer a proven method of hiding content... don't publish it!” From one of my fav all around byte philosopher aka the head lemur.

This is a new site our PXL>table designed. Why it might be of interest is the fact that it is completely tableless (xcept for forms), that it validates and is css + W3C (xhtml) compliant. Though challenging to build, the site is viewable even with dire Netscape 4.x versions.
In reference with the recent display of boring to death sites that are alas compliant but look like it's 1994 all over again and heated discussions in lists about becoming tableless, this example is a step towards being compliant and visually appealing.
A new collection is available on afterchaos: the Articles archive to feed your mind. All with freshly minted graphics. Enjoy!
