Artfully visualizing our humanity by Aaron Koblin (TED talk)
His work takes real-world and community generated data and uses it to reflect on cultural trends and the changing relationship between humans and technology.
Inspiring quote:
19th century culture was defined by the novel,
20th century by the cinema,
the culture of the 21st century will be defined by the interface.

Jaw-dropping paper sculptures double-tasking as data visualization! The intricacy of the Pattern Matters projects such as the one featured, is mind-blowing – almost hypnotic. As being one who cannot see (for the life of me) see in 3D – this is exactly the kind of projects – I wish – don’t I wish – I was capable of.
Go be impressed.

Drawing Tiny colorful buildings is one of Kelli Anderson favorite ways to pass the time. She defines herself as ‘an artist/designer and tinkerer who is always experimenting with new means of making images and experiences.’
Information design? Check. Illustration? Check. Print on fabric? Check. Letterpress? Check. Everything she does – is delightful. Her portfolio is dazzling and website pretty, cool, unusual too.
