Dan Matutina aka Twistedfork designs, illustrates and experiments. His angular boxy somewhat weird characters as charicacctural they are – they serve the briefs purpose well.
Really like the SEAir Anniversary Issue (the mix media illustrations were for an article about favorite teen hangouts) project.
What exactly is (Digital) Circlism? This is a modern artistic expression, a mix between Pop Art and Pointillism. It is made with digital tools (this is just a personal definition) and Aäsheesh Kumar is developing this new style of illustration.
Check the Pointillist Self Portrait, only small and big colored dots painted each one in CS4 with a sharp brush. It took roughly 2 evenings of work.

Post-FIRE (exhibit) day. If you want to see some snapshots check the album. Showing Fabesko (a totally awesome Parisian artist) who created her version of Captain America holding on to the PILLS artwork. It was a hit at first sight!
It so happens that they are almost exactly in the same color hues. Something huh?
Oki I’ve seen far out but this tops it all. Drawing audio data with motor oil and a backlight? In cooperation with Intersection Magazine Germany and Smart, is Nils Völker new project. There is a making of video that unveils the concept. The project is also part of a touring exhibition across several european cities – Smart Urban Stage.
