While visiting the Eye blog which has one of the yummiest eye candy luscious – oh did I just say ‘eye’ candy – well design logo where I found an article showing past ‘covers‘.

_______
Gave me the idea of doing a little digging to see if any of my fav covers would be archived somewhere. Fav fabs.

_______
Pay attention to the evolution of their logo. Believe it or not – last visual is the cover of the very first issue! Ohlala.

Mark Allen Miller uses retro characters jusggling w/ colorful elements in his editorial illustration commissioned by large media publishers.
Simple website w/ thumbnails that always repeat his cool logo.

_______
Very fond of using a tartan pattern – using a very similar color palette – applied to his illustration as backgrounds or little insert reminders or as stroked elements sorta has become his design signature.

Coöp is the studio of designer Paul Marcus Fuog. Since opening in 2004, a variety of projects ranging from small art-based briefs to expansive design contracts where positivity and experimentation are at the core of the studio’s practise were delivered.
Diversity – creativity – another excellent portfolio.

Doesn’t happen too often to encounter such high quality output. Really are 4 projects I wish I would have thought about and design these as well as Sants Serif did. His typographic knowledge and logos are knocking my socks off.
Strong portfolio. Promising talent.

Just discovered Jack Hughes a mirific superlatively talented designer and illustrator hailing from the UK. His compositions are a joyful eyeful bountiful exepriences. His palette feels like cool modern going on retro. And what about the illustrations themselves?
Oh just that close to perfect.
Check him out.

Marcos Chin illustration style has been finetuned for a number of years now. He has one of the sharpest drawing skillset and one of the top out there.
_______
For years, he’s been trying to take his work and business to the next level. This is such a vague way of speaking – only he knows what the next level is – and it didn’t feel right, until now. His moving to a new studio space is more out of a visceral decision to do so – because he likes to work alone – quietly.

Talented illustrator portfolio of Andy Smith who uses mostly line art likened to children doodles. His work combines illustration and typography to create images that have humour, energy and optimism and all are executed with a handmade, hand-printed, tactile feel.
