Slanted (David) took oneself to New York (Goliath) in September 2015 to meet the generation of designers, typographers and artists who witness and shape the transition of the city.
They produced comprehensive studio portraits and video interviews which provide a vivid and up-to-the-minute picture of the scene.
Let me introduce you to the little known minimalits graphic design approach of Tadashi Ueda – located somewhere in Japan (Tokyo?) – which I think is trailblazing a new vision for the trade.
Selina Alko is a terrific illustrator! Her work is lucid yet dreamy, one can sense the social commentary passed – especially evident in her book covers.
