Newly updated P41 Studios website, an art direction, design & development cool gang located in Chicago.
Sharing founder Patrick Algrim’s explanation in ref with the new interface design: “The Web site is designed around forced stimulation. The moving gif’s actually battle the channel surfing nature people often have online. They look at a Web site for 5 seconds, make their judgment, and decide whether to stay or go. With the gif’s, we over-stimulate, causing them to be force focused. It’s also completely modular and the layout changes with each new project and browser size.”
So, what do you think? Agree or not?

Wonderwall was founded in 2000 by Masamichi Katayama who elicits an uninhibited sense of energy towards design even in Japan, where architecture and interior design is known for being one of the most exhilarating in the world. His interest in design has always been broad, respecting conventional and traditional aspects of architecture, while believing in breaking boundaries.
Talking about breaking boundaries, check the website and mouseover the images. Walking the talk?
Wowie that’s an audacious interface design!

TAR Studio is a multidisplinary design studio. The website recaps the first 21 years of thinking (1986-2008) of selected projects delivered in between those dates. Mostly print and advertising work. Certainly not the greatest usability website ever but not the point: it’s serving to show not tell their design capabilities and avoiding writing loads of copy.
