And the little people are back! Fantastic logo installation for “Gent Scheppende Stad” (Ghent Creative City). Objective was together with several creative forces/different sectors of society to look for solutions for the urban challenges, so they can shape the future of the City.
Not only constructed in 3d – all letters have interconnected staging areas covering daily activities in a city.
Superb storyboarding / production by Coming Soon.
Now ain’t that a fun job or what?

More: Toy Stories — Liliput land — Little people encore — Strikingly believable — Dot mini anim
July 6 (11) 14:41 pm
I got miniature little people on my mind today because I just ordered a bunch of them for our upcoming wedding party.
Liliput scenes will appear around our studio as well as incorporated in the jewel boxing design which will contain our video invite – voted to be done in a single take – so expect bloopers – and a few pre-demo songs as a gift to our guests.
If you wish to attempt one yourself, Preiser HO figures are the best and you can find a huge collection here.

Presenting the hilarious Toy Stories by Aled Lewis available in either 12×12 or 24×24 gallery-quality giclée prints. Extended collection (some not available in print) here. Captions are just so it – locking the staged story as believable.
Enjoy!

I luv designer toys and the smaller – the better. I like to think sometimes in the perspective of these liliput inhabitants around the studio. So small and the space to them – would be perceived as so large. Sometimes when facing a design or creative challenge – I feel the same.
Sooo small in front of a sooo large challenge.

Ready for a little people encore? This time around brought to you via the Disparity series shot and staged by Christopher Boffoli whose miniature vignettes are spectacular both in scale and accuracy. Terrific story-telling via edible props (fruits, veggies, snacks).
Go be amazed!

Cover album concept and design for the Chillout Sessions XII by Collider. Reflects an homage to Frank Lloyd Wright and Neutra and the lifestyles their buildings accommodated and takes you to a fusion of time periods somewhere between the 50s and the 80s in the filtered light of California.
Splendid miniatures staging (and photography)!

Just received my daily dose of sanity. Stormtroopers 365 is a photo project starring TK455 and TK479, Stormtroopers in the Galactic Empire Army. The project spanned from April 2009 to April 2010. Each day during this year, a new picture was added to the series. Prints available for die-hard fans.
Now how much fun is that?

Anyone that knows me, knows that I have this fascination for everything miniature. Like the little Dinosaurs book (fully printed and readable with a lense) that is sitting by a pile of book. I like the contrast and perspective these little figurines afford in comparison with real life size objects that populates the studio.
Discover the Plastic Life series shot by Vincent Bousserez. These are probably the smallest I’ve ever seen.
The staging is strikingly believable.
