MTV Bin Man by Simon Pike. Freefarm magic once again on sound design and music duties for this ident for MTV Australia. That character capturing junk and stuff is simply irresistible.
Aol Phase 02 by Universal Everything. A second series of reveal films created for AOL and launched at the New Museum, NYC. Used for web video, mobile, digital campaigns and outdoor LED displays.

Outliers, Vol. I: Iceland is a scenic documentary of improvised collaboration. Film and video project in Reykjavik, Iceland by Scenic.
This October, a small group of filmmakers, photographers and musicians are setting out on a journey to explore the remote countryside of Iceland and document their experiences with the landscape, residents and traditions they encounter.
The project is anchored by internationally renowned photographers Tim Navis + Kim Høltermand and aided by film collective Scenic and composer Deru.

Stop-motion is a pretty time consuming and daunting project to enterprise. Merit goes to Yawn Creative (a recently launched design collective) using the setting up of their studio as subject matter and storyboard.

Anatomy of a Computer Virus by Patrick Clair. An infographic dissecting the nature and ramifications of Stuxnet, the first weapon made entirely out of code. This was produced for Australian TV program HungryBeast on Australia’s ABC1.
What? An Open-source weapon as that?!?!?
This is chilling me to the bones.
Resonance = 20 motion designers (studios) + 11 sound designers to explore the relationship between geometry and audio = A-A-A-mazing! Evidently there are loads of blurb blobbing mass of something wet sticky or plastified all animated and loads of spikes shiny reflective or not, galatactiky or earthly but such were the constraints.. you know the ‘geometry’ part.
Shows how ‘soundscapes’ influence and make for a big portion of our perception of a film.
Spectacular! What a great initiative.
