Eskimo + heat?

A long time alumni Eskimo Design Studio have retained their original ethos—passionately dedicated to saving the world from the ugly and impractical saboteurs of interior design. Oh gotta love this quote!

They love making heat! A bit obscure? Not at all if you know they are product designers who specialize in heat systems.

Heury & Heury

Heury & Heury is a French design studio (and a brother / sister collective) – and their accomplishments are what most of us – still consider dreams.

1. Break the rules
2. Do what you love
3. Don’t compare to others

_______
Their approach is minimalist – reductionist in fact. Keep only what is essential. B&Wth is
a perfect example (in 3 models)!

_______

They self-publish a magazine – aptly titled: Duo: of course right? Worth reading the interviews with Berger & Föhr + Anton & Irene (who were featured on ND).

_______

ndlr: If you want to know more about their collaboration read their Medium intro (if you speak French that is).

Plaey workshop

Plaey is a design workshop focused on simple, playful, modular furniture. Their website is inviting and colorful. Success – I wanted to see everything!

_______

Brainchild of Matt Kelly. One of the many rising young creators of the environmentally conscious pack. Nothing plain or boring to be found.

_______

Don’t miss the archive (of projects). Just love his work and collaborations.

I am using their 19-month planner and I love it! At onset – I went.. mmm.. a bit too girly for me.. but it grew on me and now I am sold. Oh I love stickers too!

Joyful rides?

I am not a ‘boarding anything’ type of girl but am fascinated by the designs these boards receive. Please take time to view Gábor Mészáros wakeboards series.

_______

Oh! And this awesome surfboard!

NU:RO next level watch

Kickstarter alert! Anton & Irene have designed a mind-blowing watch (limited edition of 500) of NU:RO.

_______

So you like it – don’t wait (too long).

_______

With a design that is sooo simple and ingenious and minimalist and unisex – imo – it deserves a Red Dot award!
