I’m a big fan of Carole Gautier and Eugénie Favre who use to operate under the design collective Polkaouistiti – which is not, as you may agree, a usual studio name.

Now how about reinventing themselves? Yes, they just did. Pleased to present you: My Name is Wendy (an encore as an unusual graphic design studio name).
Again their new website is eye popping with cutting-edge designs, with a strong inclinations towards bold typography. Not to say the use of the early web blueish tint (now #0439ff) linking (if any of you remember).

What Comes To Mind? (associative flashcards) is a deck of twenty-seven 4 x 6" double sided cards. The front of every card features an image removed from its original context. Overlaid over each image is a letter of the alphabet, printed in upper and lower case, referencing early education learning tools.
This form instructs viewers to make connections between the image and the letter printed over it.

Very nice catalog layout for TOLIX by Superscript. A graphic design studio vested in mostly print projects based in Lyon, FR and as their name evokes, they have favored lots of typographic explorations, check out the rest of their portfolio to see more.

Mathis Pfaeffli a member of the Lucerne based Detektiv Bureau But currently I live and work in Leipzig. Check out his poster series. Love the sparingness and cutting-edge concepts as well as his typography placement.
Slavimir Stojanovic was born in Belgrade, Yugoslavia in 1969. His design career started when he was 16. He studied at Design Higschool in Belgrade, at the Academy for Applied arts and Design and at HDK in Gotheborg, Sweden. Between 1992 and 1999 he worked at S Team Bates Saatchi & Saatchi. From 1999 to 2007 he lived in Ljubljana, Slovenia working at Kompas Design, Arih Advertising and his own Futro Creative Service Unit.
From 2010 he works as a creative director at Communis DDB, Belgrade. More recently, he became a partner at Designis, design and branding agency. His work in the domain of visual communication, design and advertising has brought him more than 200 international awards.
