Mineral beauty
Blowing me away this am. Falling head over heels for Carly Waito paintings. These are not close-up pictures of minerals – they are actually – yes minerals – but oil painted . Wow.
Beauty can be found in the most unsuspected of places.

Probably the top paper sculptures I’ve ever seen. Crafted to perfection.

What is good design? A project that once you find it – ain’t matter which year it was created. Hvass&Hannibal is a must emulate example! We need more like them in the industry who are not afraid to use colours – lots and lots of colours.
As a multi-disciplinary arts and design studio based in Copenhagen and since 2006, have worked in close collaborative partnership with illustrative and conceptual design in a number of different fields for numerous clients in Europe, Asia and the US.

Founded in 1994 by Michael Rock, Susan Sellers and Georgianna Stout, 2×4 is headquartered in New York City. Both highly rational and wildly visual, their work spans strategy and design from culture to commerce.
Cohesive and comprehensive website w/ lots of delightful eye candy all around. Browse – browse – browse and learn.

Sophie Smallhorn introduces a complete rethinking of what modern structuring is about as she explorex the relationships between colour, volume and proportion. I luv her work. Clean lines, striking palettes and the morphology is constantly revolving around bar codes and simple geometrical forms.

Thinkcollective created small-batch design products for enjoyment and inspiration such as the Bricolage Books featuring fabric covers and matching pins. Each Bricolage book was a hand-made one-of-a-kind original.
Worth a sighting even if all sold-out.
