/ Nose Pilot is probably one of the first flash short film ever produced, Nose Pilot got so many visitors that it regularly busted hosting packages, kept disappearing until it has reemerged under the wings of Globz.

Alex Sacui produced an endearing storyboard, simple vector designs floating around the screen taking you on a visual voyage that is still, today, a chef d'oeuvre in the genre.

From a technical perspective, must be considered ground breaking work!

ndlr: I found this archived exhibit he did at Bomuldsfabriken Kunsthall, as you can see, not all he had drawn made it in the movie. _#16 + _#17 + _#18 + _#19.

Poll results:

“...effectively creating a cyber wall between the Internet in China and the rest of the world,” the report notes.

What do you think of that?

a) agree with a *cyber wall* = 0%

b) disagree with a *cyber wall* = 99,05%

The 0,05% came from someone who mentioned there's nothing we can do about it!

Trip Kilpatrick reported this: “You've got Drivers.com listed in your toolbox section on Netdiver, but it seems that they are the world's leading site on drivers and driver behavior. That's as in cars and ... , not as in software and hardware...”

_______

ndlr: There's a bot that roams netdiver site weekly and reports 404 BUT it doesn't READ content. The site Trip mentioned was probably bought and turned into an ad-popping and (almost) spam site... there's a link to *device drivers* which lead to another page with more ads and to another site with more ads... Well you get the point!

So - were you to find such a *change* in content in any of the links in the toolbox or the brainware area - please let me know and tx for caring for the *quality* of content.

Needless to say that above mentioned site was pulled out of netdiver.

Here's Karl Moeller review of VR best softwares:

Apple's QuickTime VR

Apple's QuickTime VR runs on any browser on any platform with one initial plugin.

360 Degrees of Freedom

By using 360 Degrees of Freedom s(r) Java Applet panorama viewer, it loads automatically and the panorama is viewable on any browser that supports Java.

(Netscape(r) 3.0 and higher, Internet Explorer(r) 3.0 and higher, Neoplanet(r) 2.0, etc.). No need to send your visitor off your site to download and then install a Plug-in. Plus, the Panorama images are small in file size -- less than 100K!! Therefore there are no long waits while large images load before viewing it!

PMVR (Poor Man's Virtual Reality)

PMVR is “Poor Man's Virtual Reality” and is a kit of tools for building 360' panoramas, including various FREE image stitcher packages, with only a Java enabled browser required for viewing.

Here are the results of the mini-survey which is a *qualitative* evaluation of your level of satisfaction accessing netdiver - no matter what type of internet connections you use.

Access to netdiver from all over the world is?

slow: 18%

ok: 82%

So those of us experimenting slower access is due to our ISP connections. :((

Send a note of appreciation to someone who has influenced your design skills; you would be surprised how this can make a huge difference and validate the efforts that person put in to excel as a designer!

I think one of the smartest idea that came to a stock company came to Digital Vision. They have issued a collection named the *Infinity Series*. What's in a name? Guess? These cd's are .PSD files with layers that you can use and add your own flavor too.

Commissioned work to some of my favs designers: Mike Young (designgraphik), Jens Karlsson (chapter3/threeOh), Sean Rodwell (aeriform), Adrian Luna (purusdesign), Nathan Flood (ningco) and many others.

New Masters of Photoshop: For the advanced designers - no - for everyone! (Do you know anybody who doesn't want to be an advanced designer?) Written by real masters and surely not like some of those drone making books that don't use any visual substance to prevent us from snoring while learning! Written as a real book with lots of images and snapshots of commands and a cool cd too.

_______

New Masters of Flash:: The 2002 Annual! How hard is it to beat your own odds? Well this 2nd edition did! Finally some vavavoum flash recipes are available right in the book - with good visual support and cd. Same magazine feel that doesn't cause mental retardation while reading.

Days are shorter in this hemisphere. Just received my latest bot report: netdiver has... 4,071 links! Now that show how our online new media community is striving! :))
