My wish list for this special time of the year is that for all of us - who work, dream and make it happen in our industry, be rewarded upon its efforts. A castle is built one stone at a time!
Though hardship has been the key word it seems for so many - hang in there - good tidings are yet to come!

The reason I quit traditional media was due mainly to the *popcorn recipe*. Clients projects were roughly delivered like this: take a kernel, heat a pan, pour a little oil, cover 5 min and VOILÀ: popcorn! (ie instant consummation and no perennity projects aka vaporware!)
Care to know my recipe? Take a kernel, put in soil, out in the sun, water when needed, weed out, and with a lot of patience later VOILÀ: a corn stalk! (100 more kernels to grow!) <cg>

eNormously eFficient! eNourmously true! eNourmously funny! eNourmously smart! eNourmously needed!eNourmously efficient! eNormicom!
Segura (if you don't know who Carlos Segura is, read a recent interview from PixelSurgeon) and 37signals just proved that minimalism is not a disease to avoid at all costs and being smart - one that can be caught!
As per their own saying "eNormicom is a satirical site" and you better have a rock solid ego to swallow the pitch.
eNormicom is NOT an eye-candy-pretty-site but the graphics are so generic that hardly anyone can be offended BUT the non-creative attitudes described are a killer!
When was the last time you were compelled to read 18 pages online... on the same site??? Paramount communication design project!
