This is a mammoth size achievement: The Lego Kitchen created by Munchausen, a duo formed by Parisian designers Simon Pillard and Philippe Rosetti, where they customized a basic IKEA kitchen island bar and then spend a full week covering it with more than 20,000 Lego pieces!!!

Superb is the work of Katrin Olina a multi-disciplinary designer that has pretty touched just about every media: illustration, graphic design, environmental design, animation, interior design, fashion, textiles.. The Cristal Bar (Hong Kong) is a fantastic example!
“An interior based around graphic art and the application of a visual language in an entire space. In this project she exploits the film and printing technology of 3M to create a huge seamless painting that expands throughout the four interconnected areas that cover a floor area of 1200 square feet!
The bar countertop is encrusted with more than 300,000 Swarovski crystals, which are illuminated from above by a ripple projector, and below by multicolored LEDs, in that way the counter’s surface changes hues while shimmering in undulating waves over the course of the night. ”
Here is a photographer, Michael Alberstat who is versatile and accomplished in a rainbow of assignments: kids, lifestyle, food & drink, still life and interiors.
His shots are vibrant and shock full of life. He has a keen eye for color balance and perception.
Did my first wall collage when I was 14 over the felt burgundy (awful) wallpaper my mum was so proud of.. was she ever so very angry with my new found creative endeavor which I went on to apply to all kinds of surfaces including dining and working tables, bookcases and.. more walls.
Since, I have kept a penchant for flat art that blends on walls such as wall decals. Luv the smooth effect whereas there are no distinction between the surface it is applied to and the artwork.
