"Did your work experience at .. agency play a large role in your deciding that maintaining a small business was better than running an office of over 100 people?
Yes, that was the major reason: I saw at .. that I will not be able to actually design when my office is bigger, and I saw the advantages of a large office for the clients as tiny, while the disadvantages were huge."

My thoughts on web design by Derek J. Kinsman
1 – I don’t think they’re have been many new websites that’ve gone up since the Thinking For A Living site, that are wildly different from each other (problem the first).
2 – Actually those are all the points I have. Just one.

20 things I learned about browsers and the web is for kids? Or? Book like presentation of what the web was and is becoming. The illustrations are cute but are they appropriate for professionals? What do you make of this approach? Works or not?

They did it again. Wieden + Kennedy have launched a new website with a shorten url (wk) where all offices are now confined into a single location on the web. The realm of their influence is so great that they have an entertainment channel, a blog and an incubator section alongside their client works.
What do you think? Like or not?

Might be perceived as over simplisitic, but I really like the boxy approach Drexler took for their website. The news section (middle band) is cleverly inserted. Luv the arrow-based navigation, the color palette and the large visuals with well-written captions.
Good start for this creative collective.
