Founded by Daniel Howells in 2009, kulör is a new London-based digital design, strategy, and development agency specialising in the creation of beautifully functional websites and applications.
Interface is clean, good starting roster of projects such as YCN, SiteInspire and others. Always important to only show your best realizations when you are starting as a freelancer or agency.

Where do great talent go? At AREA17 located in both Paris and New York, is home of extra prolific creative execution master Arnaud Mercier who was listed as a design forte recipient back in 2002, (yepp that long ago).
Anyhow, they have a tagline that pretty much summarize their approach: “We believe websites can change people’s lives.. is that crazy?”

They are ODD! They hail from London. This is their new portfolio website. Like the fact that when you mouseover a project screenshot, you can see a quick slide show. If you like one item it takes you to the second level while offering a quick descript before.
Made for the impatient viewer in mind.

Nobody could sustain such an interface design today without seeming passé, but if you were the first one to do it, then I guess, you have royal precedence in doing it again. AgencyNet sure pulled a technical feat, the flying helicopter is unnecessary though.
Why ask your viewers to pick between your blog or full website? Is being part of the blogosphere now more important than potential clients seeing your work right off?

Creative Suitcase is a custom web design and graphic design agency. Good nav idea of using semi-transparent clickable content bars to highlight the different sections.
What do you think, works or not?

Simple. I’m just a HUGE fan! Check what they did on the jetBlue case study as a layout for the page. Now check the size of that suitcase; it’s humongous.. huh.. huge!

Ok I get it. Negative space rules. Check. As well as strict minimalism. Check. Less is best. Check. One-page interface holder. Check. Nice typographic treatment. Check. Nice and large visuals. Check. No scrolling up or down or left or right. Check. But dear Stone Yamashita partners, I like the approach, still I was kind of expecting more, not less.
What do you think. Works or not?
