For what it’s worth Arcarde Fire, The Wilderness Downtown (Google Chrome in mind) experiment is worth seeing if you didn’t know, that is a repeat of what was done with old versions of Explorer that were driving everyone crazy, probably 8-10 yrs ago. To their credit, using Goolgle maps for location is a nice twist.
Now told you so, windows will pop all over!

Jen Mussari is an illustrator, typographer and visual explorer. Digging her work! Luv the scattered samples on her website, pick one and pops a large preview. Well done!

If websites for publishers were as good as Fiell, we would scurry over the catalogs more often. Designed by xtra talented Stylo Design.

Light me up baby with the 8AM desk lamp! Simplicity elevated. Designed by Joseph Graceffa and Dario Buzzini. Variants are available. Exactly what I would need on my desks.

No doubt whatsoever about that!

Placeholder while site is under construction? Visual playground? Online / navigational experiment? Perhaps all these? See it: Drei Morgen.
So what do you think it is? All above? None?

Sangre.tv is Pablo Scaglione portfolio on the web. Though a bit slow to load, some of his projects are wonderful, hence worth the wait. Nice logo too.

Experimenting with WOFF (?)
Internet Explorer 9 now supports WOFF, and the Friends of Mighty have joined forces to explore typographic possibilities on the web: Lost Word’s Fairs

Anna Williams does refined and outstanding food photography. The composition are simply scrumpideliciously perfect. Shown excerpt of the white on white series. What talent she has.
Truly beautiful eye candy!

Wowie never seen far out watches as Nooka builds. Their collection have so many different faces that are as cool as unorthodox in showing what time it is and are as much jewelry as geeky style statement.

Akrolab is a French design and web creation studio and they’ve opt for an unusual display of their portfolio – a book like presentation (which includes a contact form – that’s smart). Excellent and very professional work – especially in the fields of advertising and editorial design.
What do you think? Works or not?

Thousands of women are falling stairs every day! Watch bff – Stairs tough and real (video). New stake and stance on violence made to women created for a charity event by Young&Rubicam.
Shocking and sad. Love the women around you!

These ear extensions are crazy insane but apart from these, the Bliss & Abyss tees are pretty and nice and designed by Herman Lee aka Freshfauxx.

Delicious Design League was started in 2006 by two friends; Jason Teegarden-Downs and Billy Baumann in Chicago Illinois. With over ten years of experience in the design and ad biz they started Delicious simply as a rock poster design/screenprinting hobby but by 2008, it had quickly grown into a full-time design and illustration studio.
Check the store to buy their gig posters.

Enticing and impeccable presentation. Cool javascript thumbnail shuffling effect on Kiosk, a multi-disciplinary design studio founded by former Designers Republic senior designer, David Bailey.

Lovely! Series of illustrations namned Sea Stars Time by Santagio Durieux. Luv the ethereal glossy results and the sweet characters.

Superb! Visit modern residential through the interiors photography snapped by Nikolas Koenig.

Guess what these stamps are for? Calum Crease came up with this very clever idead: the stamps follow an ethos; nothing in nature is wasted. Each stamp once posted can be planted; bringing to life a plant that will benefit the insect depicted on it.

What Design Can’t Do by Christopher Simmons
“Years ago, inspired by something I heard Terry Irwin describe, I created a diagram to explain to clients just where design fits into their business plan. It was as much about managing expectations as it was about selling the value of design.”

Who luvs crayons? They do! They do! Mulheres Barbadas, aka the Bearded Ladies are an illustration duo from São Paulo, Brazil who fill up walls (piano, fridge, anything really) with black and white drawings! Totally amazing stuff!
Watch background movie, scroll to see their work.

Well The London Police ain’t what you think. Strictly black and white, permanent ink on canvas illustrations of smiley characters populating mega-detailed (mostly urban) landscapes.

Weeeee! Can you figure out what time it is? Took me a couple of back and forth through the different pictures to figure it out. Check the Defakto purist (and single-handed) watch!
Because time ain’t always on our side!

Like the idea of including everything you’ve done. seen, written and snapped in a single page and this approach was embraced by Paul Witherden, a London based designer.
Layout and image sequencing are key to avoid a drab listing.

Felipe Avila likes movement bursting with floating forms, shapes, lots of circles, fluid like opaque to transparent landscapes unidentifiable matter. Ad dramatic splashes of colors and voilà! Definitely someone to watch!

Check out the details of Mariana Pugliese edible art! Who would want to eat such a fantastic cake anyway?

Always flux because as says Gregor Žakelj their creative director, because we are never satisfied, VBG (which stands for Visual Brain Gravity) is a visual communication service. Everybody is talking about what they wanna-be. But we just are. And we have visions. Showing loads of visual treats, check their portfolio.

Bungalow is a film, motion graphics, illustration and photography production company located in Barcelona. Luv what they did for this advert for Generalitat! Cute!

Festival Creative based in Australia, love bringing people together to work towards the common goal of great creative, effective outcomes and good times and they just launched their new website.
Appeasing blue background with a litteral metaphor of using a fair rides to convey their festive approach to design. Digging the top nav for client login, newsletter and social networks.

The gang at YouWorkForThem and us go a long way back. Back when the web was young and crazy stuff was going on. What I am particularly fond and admirative of, is their capacity to reinvent themselves. After many years, the last rendition of their website is a hair short of perfect.
What you can find there? Fonts, very lovely fonts and vectors, and images and videos and brushes and sound.. The website is deep and full of design goodies as well as fun to navigate.

Mark Summers who has earned quite a reputation in the field of illustration has created this history overview via liliput and totally wicked portraits of famous people! Wow this guy can draw!
