Copy Theft or inspiration?
Previously on Twitter: “U found something interesting that you put on your blog? Cite your source(s) with a link back”.
Why? To nudge people who get inspired by content from influential blogs/portals/individuals to show where their inspiration comes from, if they republish it in some form or another.
It would be unthinkable to dare publish a scientific paper without any references. Without these, no credibility in the community. Should same ethics apply to us?
